The butterfly

There are clouds everywhere. The sunlight is beaming through the parts left untouched by the other clouds. Fresh air gently passes you by; it’s not too cold, nor too warm. A butterfly sat down on your shoulder, you turn your face to look at it and it takes a flight away from you. You trace its path with your eyes and suddenly your eyes fall on the black clouds approaching. They are fast and are taking the shape of a hideous monster as they come near you. Your breath becomes fast and shallow; your eyes are widened with fear. You take a step back with your eyes fixated on the dark clouds. While stepping back, you get your feet stuck in a mud puddle and you fall back. The clouds have now covered the whole sky; the wind is blowing terribly fast; your breath is heavy, and in such haste, you look down and close your eyes tightly to let the worse happen and…..
It starts to rain, your eyes are still shut. Suddenly, you feel your body relaxing at the touch of the raindrops. Your shoulders are no more tensed, your breath is coming back to normal, and gently, you open your eyes. The clouds are not that scary now, the same wind seems oddly pleasing and everything is clearer than before. Now, you do nothing but stay there and watch.
