Episode 1: She ran!

She ran fast, very fast, as fast as she could. Her breathing was heavy, she looked back while running, her hair kissing her left cheek. It was an empty sidewalk at midnight. She never thought she would find herself in such a situation. Seeing someone being murdered on the corner of that dump street was a lot to take it. She ran as soon as she saw that scene in front of her eyes. “Did the murderer see her?”, this was the only thought on her mind but she didn’t dare look back. Her ankles were giving up because of the high heels she wore for her first day at her new job. She was certain now that the world out there is scary and now she would never get out of her house ever again. Finally, when she stepped foot on the first step to her apartment was the time she stopped to take a breath. But her face was still pale from the horrible scene she just witnessed. She dived her arm in her oner large grey bag but she couldn’t get hold of her apartment keys in such a hurry. Her arms and legs were going cold of fear as every second passed. A few moments later, she felt a cold metal touching her fingertips in her bag. The keys fell to the floor as she bolted them out of the bag. Her mind went insane of the thoughts haunting her continuously. She picked up the keys, inserted them in the keyhole, turned the knob with force and let herself in. She was out of breath with her back against the door.
It was a rough night for her. Her first day out in the world on her own got her trembling.
