A little lost

She feels lost many times, and on some days she would find herself, for slight moments, or minutes. She would find herself in a squirrel running up and down multiple trees. She would look at the moon and miss admiring it. She hasn’t found herself completely yet. Maybe this pursuit is in the journey of healing or maybe there is no healed state at all; it’s all an endless road. She keeps quite — listening to what others have to say. Not just listening but contemplating and then opening her mouth to check she got her voice or not. But she’s confused! How are these people so sure and bold of what they think. Aren’t they afraid of the more confident voices shouting and basking at the top of their head? How do they differentiate between being too proud of their opinions and actually know that they stand by their truth. Maybe it’s the pursuit of the truth; one’s own truth.
